No Jeff Pendergraph. No problem.

For the last five minutes of the game at least.

Sun Devils beat errors to win home opener

This game was closer than the score indicates.

ASU's streak on the line
Competitions between ASU and UA this school year, from matches on the gridiron and basketball's hardwood to the soccer pitch and volleyball court, can all be summed up with one word: broom.

Late rally not enough for the Sun Devils vs. Cal

ASU up against highly-ranked UA
UA fans still reeling from last week's 59-54 basketball defeat to ASU should be glad to know their school probably won't lose to the Sun Devils again Saturday.

Opinions: New habits are hard to break as well

SLAGLE: I have become seriously distracted, and it gets worse as the days pass. In a departure from my norm, the twists and turns of the presidential race have enraptured me to the point where nothing else really matters.

Because of this, I can tell you the talking points of the candidates, but don't ask me what classes I had yesterday. I know the percentages of the votes garnished by each candidate in an embarrassing number of states, but I don't care to keep tabs on Blackboard.

Opinions: Don't walk on the wild side

WOOD: When I taking a tour at the Phoenix Zoo recently, my tour guide went off on a tangent. Apparently, there is one subject that really gets his goat.

That happens to be when he is manning the phones and someone calls in asking what to feed a grown jaguar that is obviously upset and is starting to claw through the outdoor wall.

Opinions: Boos and Bravos
Look at what the Editorial Board boo'd and bravo'd this week.

Review: Better than the mix-tape your boyfriend made
While most music Web sites offer pretentious musical insight, there is still one that offers reviews, features and more, without the over dignified attitude like PitchforkMedia.com tends to offer. That site is TinyMixTapes.com.
