3:50 p.m. -- The Schwada Classroom Office Building was evacuated at approximately 1 p.m. Thursday after ASU Police received a call that there was a bomb in the building.

"We cleared the building and Cmdr. [Jim] Hardina from the ASU Police Department is currently making a sweep of the building," said ASU spokeswoman Leah Hardesty just before 3 p.m.

As of 3 p.m., no bomb had been found.

The building houses several large lecture classes and a portion of the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly quoted ASU official Leah Hardesty as saying that the initial report may have been from a student seeking to avoid a quiz.
