Tempe campus falls to 3rd place

OVERCROWDED: Almost all computers are being used in the Hayden Library on Tuesday.  The Tempe campus is the third largest campus in the country. ASU's Tempe campus has once again been beaten by Ohio State University.

Jump Start
At the start of the fall semester, some ASU colleges began to shed freshman-required general education courses in favor of specialized courses for their major.

Police Beat
A 20-year-old Salinas, Calif. man was arrested Saturday night on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and being a minor in possession of alcohol, according to the police report.

Zeta Beta Tau returns to ASU after 30-year hiatus

NEW FRATERNITY: The founding fathers of ASUís new Jewish fraternity look out over Alpha Drive Tuesday evening.  Back to front, they are architecture freshman Mark Bartschi, chemistry freshman R.J. Iovino, and film and media studies freshman Joel Swedlove. The Interfraternity Council deemed a new addition to ASU Greek Life kosher earlier this semester.

House takes on illegal file sharing
ASU officials are opposed to a new House of Representatives proposal under review that would force colleges to further filter and monitor their online networks, one University official says.
