Sam Greene may not know much about cars, but he sure knows comedy.

Greene, a 1998 ASU communications graduate, is the lifeblood behind Comedy Central's latest faux-reality TV show, "American Body Shop," about a doomed Chandler auto body store.

Students may find yet another reason to skip class, but instead of hiring a personal note-taker to ensure they don't miss anything, all they'll have to do is open up iTunes.

Live Earth concerts more political than helpful

Last Saturday, more than 100 artists on all seven different continents joined together to play to an estimated worldwide audience of 2 billion people.

This "Live Earth" event was modeled after the Live 8 and Live Aid Concerts, which were created to bring attention to world poverty.

While the aim of this concert was admirable -- to bring attention to climate change, several factors involved with it seem counterintuitive.

A man with a plan: Part 2

A theatre major, an education graduate student and a writer are sitting at a bar discussing ASU President Michael Crow's New American University.

No, it's not the setup to a bad joke, just an actual conversation I had with a friend and her mother.

The dialogue moved from change to sweeping change enacted by Crow. Bother mother and daughter argued that he was doing too much, too fast and ignoring the arts and social sciences in favor of the hard sciences, which bring in more money.
Both could speak from personal experience.

Monday, July 2, 2007, will go down in the books as one of the best days of my life, when one of my most difficult life-journeys finally came to an end: my search for a Nintendo Wii.

My car only turns into a toaster
There's really not a whole lot more than meets the eye in Michael Bay's summer blockbuster "Transformers" -- it looks cool, and it is.
