Napolitano recently wrote a letter to congress concerning the high prices Arizonans are paying at the pump.  Gas prices have risen in Arizona more than 40 cents in the past month, prompting Gov. Janet Napolitano to send a letter to the U.S. Department of Energy for an explanation - but is it enough?

New developer pledges to preserve historic building

PRIME STEAK, PRIME REAL ESTATE: The historical land and building that houses Montiís La Casa Vieja on the corner of Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway has been sold.  The restaurant will remain, but itís exact future is still undecided. Owners are selling one of Tempe's oldest buildings in a deal that officials say will fill a critical cap in Tempe's downtown experience.

Higher prices, lower demand
Increased birth control prices at the ASU Campus Health Service have led to decreased student demand for contraceptives since the price change went into effect in January, according to the ASU Pharmacy.

Police Beat
A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested at Manzanita Hall Sunday morning on charges of false information to a police officer and being under 21 with alcohol in the body.
