Top 5 most ridiculously overpriced beauty products

1. Biosilk Silk Therapy: around $20 for 5.64 fl. oz. Put the liquid in your wet or dry hair. Your hair becomes soft and shiny. Simple... perhaps too simple for $20.

2. Evian Skin Care Atomizer: $15 for three 1.7 oz. bottles. Everyone knows that Evian is naive spelled backwards, but when you're spending this much for a spray bottle of water to mist your face with, you're taking naive to a whole new level.

3. Korres Absinthe Brushless Shave Cream (for men): $28 for 5 oz. Apparently, adding liquor that's illegal in the United States to a shaving cream makes it "rich in essential oils and flavanoids." But if you're going to buy absinthe, wouldn't you rather drink it than put it on your face?

4. GoSmile a.m. & p.m. toothpastes: $30 for two 3.5 oz. tubes. The a.m. variety has essential fruit oils; the p.m version has lavender, chamomile and vanilla. Come on, toothpaste shouldn't be this exciting.

5. Fresh Sun Shield SPF 30: $48 for a 5.1 oz. tube. This sunscreen claims that its power to protect your skin is intensified by the sun's rays. Um... we're pretty sure we can get a bottle of SPF 50 at Walgreens for like $8.
