Immigration

Immigration is not a topic you've probably heard much about during this year's presidential election campaign -- at least not from the candidates.
It's not that the candidates lack official positions or that they agree on immigration issues. It's just that, other than Independent candidate Ralph Nader, they'd rather not talk about it.

ASU flunks affordability study

A lack of state-funded financial aid is the elephant in the room that nobody is willing to talk about, at least if you ask ASU President Michael Crow. "We're surprised at the fact that all the focus over the last couple years has been on the University raising tuition and not on the state under-funding the University," he said, "and not on the fact that there's no financial aid in Arizona at the level that other states provide.

Sometimes you have to test the limits. In my 30-minute break between KIN 105: Ultimate Frisbee and ENG 352: Short Story, I need to read 20 pages and traverse campus. I have to make it from my ultimate frisbee class near the Student Recreation Center to my short story class on the northwest side of campus.
